| Massage for Babies' infant massage teacher training five day course is approved by Embody CThA (the Complementary Therapists Association).
Students who complete the baby massage training course successfully will receive a certificate bearing the Embody logo and the text "Approved by Embody CThA", qualifying them to teach parents how to massage their babies.
The CThA is the leading organisation representing over 9,000 complementary therapists in the UK and Ireland.
It looks after the professional interests of practitioners in regulation and national representation, professional development and the development and acceptance of therapies with other organisations.
Embody CThA assessors have rated the baby massage training course run by Massage for Babies as worth 25 post-graduate qualification credits for all students continuing their professional development.
Massage for Babies' baby massage training course was approved in 2002, following a rigorous assessment of the teaching plan, teaching material, class management, student instruction and student support.
The Embody CThA approval is valid for students who have a qualification in anatomy and physiology already, or are qualified massage therapists, midwives, health professionals and bodyworkers.
More than 200 health service and local authority staff who have completed our short courses have been awarded Massage for Babies certificates that are valid while they are working for their sponsoring employer.
